Two okada riders remanded for teenager’s murder

Two motorcyclists have been remanded at the Ikoyi Prisons by an Ebute-Meta Magistrate’s Court, Lagos, for allegedly killing a 17-year-old boy, Tunde Ayanwale. The police said Taofeek Saliu (29) and Yusuf Ogunleke (19) stabbed Ayanwale to death at Adedeye Street, Orile Iganmu, on April 12. The men are facing two counts of conspiracy and murder before Magistrate O.O. Olatunji.

According to the police, the accused had a fight with the deceased after he accused them of hitting him with their motorcycle. Prosecutor Isaac Aminu said Ayanwale was stabbed to death during the fight. The charge said the offence contravened sections 221 and 231 of the Criminal Code Laws of Lagos State, 2011
